Ivi is a final-year full-time DPhil candidate in the History Department at the University of Oxford, UK. She is supervised by Dr. Jennifer Altehenger. Before going to Oxford, she completed her MPhil in World History at the University of Cambridge, UK. Her research interest is in political, cultural, and intellectual Chinese history in the Maoist era, as well as human rights history in the 20th century. Ivi has been a research assistant at the University of Hong Kong and Yale University, US. She is also now a tutor at Exeter College, Oxford.
