The National Women’s MP: Joyce Butler, women’s rights and women’s liberation from the 1950s to the 1970s
Chlo leads the outreach and engagement work for the AHRC-funded project ‘The National Women’s MP: Joyce Butler, women’s rights and women’s liberation from the 1950s to the 1970s’, led by Dr Lyndsey Jenkins at Mansfield College, Oxford, in collaboration with Bruce Castle Museum and Archive Service, Haringey Council. They design and deliver a tailored programme of online and in-person activities under Dr Jenkins’ direction, working closely with museum and archive colleagues to promote the collection and exhibition while reflecting the project’s wider themes. A key part of their role is leading a project with young people, capturing and documenting their responses to the collection and supporting them to produce a creative output.
