Courtly Adaptation in Royal Retreat: Country Houses and Collections Amid the Court of George III and Queen Charlotte
By probing the relationship between courtiers and monarch, my doctoral research will utilize country houses and their collections to explore an identified tension between a growing cultural sphere and royal retreat in the mid- to late-eighteenth century.
Experience and Professional Activities
I have a particular interest working in the British heritage sector after my studies and I am currently an active participant in the Heritage Pathway Programme offered by The Oxford Research Centre in the Humanities (TORCH). Throughout my Master's program at Oxford in 2019/2020, I gained further experience through internships with the National Trust Partnership at TORCH and Purcell Architects.
