2022 Astor Lecture in Medical Humanities - Global Health Emergencies: from Ebola and Covid-19 to Monkeypox and Polio

Oxford Medical Humanities is hosting Professor Lawrence Gostin, renowned expert in global health governance, for a University of Oxford Astor Visiting Lectureship in October 2022. 

On Monday 3 October, Professor Gostin will give the 2022 Astor Lecture in Medical Humanities, ‘Global Health Emergencies: From Ebola and Covid-19 to Monkeypox’.  This will be followed by a drinks reception.  The Astor Lecture is free to attend but registration is required. 

There will be an interdisciplinary roundtable discussion of Professor Gostin’s Astor Lecture on Tuesday 4 October at 11:00.  This is free to attend but registration is required.
