I use multimodal large language models to construct and analyse datasets from archival image scans, with the long-term vision of building AI Historians.
My DPhil dissertation investigates how innovation and institutions shaped labour markets and economic growth in Germany during the Industrial Revolution. My supervisors are Sheilagh Ogilvie and Stephen Broadberry.
I am very grateful to have received the Advanced Quantitative Methods Award from the Economic and Social Research Council, which fully funds my doctoral work through UK Research and Innovation.
