The June and Simon Li Graduate Scholarship in the History of Chinese Art

Due to a generous donation from June and Simon Li, the Department of History of Art will now have provision to support two new graduate scholarships in Chinese art history. Each scholar will receive three years' funding. The first scholar is set to be admitted in 2020 and a second scholar to be admitted in 2021.


Terms and conditions

The studentships cover all tuition fees for three years (£27,285 per year [Overseas], £9,250 per year [Home/EU]) plus £15,677 living allowance . Awards are made for the full duration of the period of fee liability for the agreed course.


How to apply

Applicants must apply to the University of Oxford for admission to a DPhil in History of Art by the 2021 application deadline. 

Applications for courses offered for admission in 2021-22 will open on Tuesday 1 September 2020.

No separate application is required to be considered for this award. All eligible applicants will be considered automatically.
