Roy Foster Irish Government Research Fellowship in the History and Culture of Ireland

 

The fellowship is attached to Hertford College, under the aegis of the Foster Professor of Irish History, and is tenable for one year from 1 October 2020.

 

Preference will be given to candidates who have recently been awarded a postgraduate degree and wish to develop their work further or initiate a new project, but those in the final stages of a postgraduate degree will not be excluded, particularly if they have a special reason to study at Oxford.

 

The Fellow will receive accommodation, a maintenance grant, and appropriate SCR (Senior Common Room) dining rights. Limited teaching may be available. Full details of the post can be found on the Faculty of History website: Click here for full details of the post.
