Research Interests
My research focuses on Britain in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries; and more particularly on the history of architecture, education, and religion. Currently I am working on the development of Britain's civic universities; on the relationship between architecture and identity; and on the history of Oxford University Press.
Supervision Interests
I would be very happy to discuss research proposals on British history in the last two hundred years, and would be particularly pleased to see any that closely relate to my own research interests.
