Research Interests
Professor Pogge von Strandmann works on German history within a wider European context in the 19th and 20th centuries. He has published on German imperialism and colonialism, German domestic politics and German revolutions, German-Russian relations in the inter-war period, the role of industrial interests in modern German society and the causes of the First World War.
