Research Interests
The History of War and Military and Naval History in the Nineteenth and Twentieth Century, with particular interest in the First World War, the Indian Army and the 'Sideshows'; Wars in Central Asia, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iran and South West Asia; Conventional operations, strategy, tactical developments, guerrilla and revolutionary warfare, intelligence and counter-insurgency.
