Research Interests
Professor Harris has published extensively on the history of social policy, and on nineteenth- and twentieth-century intellectual history. She is currently researching on intellectuals during the Second World War, and editing a volume of essays written by fourteen members of the Modern History Faculty on the history of "civil society".
