Research Interests
Professor Fox's main research interests are in the history of the physical sciences since 1700, with special reference to France, and the relations between technology, science, and industry in modern Europe. He is currently working on a social and cultural history of science and technology in France between 1814 and 1918, and on the history of physics in Oxford since 1850.
