Taught programmes examination forms

Many of the forms below may be filled in electronically, and then printed. Whether you can also save an electronic copy for reference will depend, however, on the set-up and installed software on the computer you are using. We would naturally be grateful if you could type in your information before printing the form, as the gain in legibility of your form would make it more efficient for all concerned. Do not quit before printing what you have written unless you are confident that you can save the document.

Forms associated with the submission of examination materials

Declarations of authorship as required by the Examination Regulations:
  (i) Qualifying tests
 (ii) Essays
(iii) Dissertations

Applications for advance approval and/or modification of titles of work to be submitted for examination in master’s programmes:

Examination entry forms

These forms are currently generated by Examination Schools and sent to candidates’ colleges. Please check your pigeon hole in early February, and if you have not received your entry form then check with your College Office whether it was posted in some other way. If your form has not arrived by Friday of Third Week of Hilary Term please contact us by e-mail for a replacement exam entry form (just click on this link).

Examination timetables

Timetables for undergraduate and master's programmes are published on-line by Examination Schools as soon as they have been approved by the responsible examiners: http://www.admin.ox.ac.uk/schools/oxonly/timetables/index.shtml. Please note that you need to be on the University network (or logged in remotely as an Oxford user) in order to be able to view them.

Transcripts for master’s programmes

Since October 2007 Examination Schools provide detailed official certification for the assessment elements of your master’s programme. One such transcript will be posted free of charge to you at your registered home address once the examination results are available, and further copies can be ordered for a small fee.

Prior to October 2007 the University provides degree certificates only (see http://www.admin.ox.ac.uk/schools/degrees/degree_certificates.shtml). However, if the time when you read for an Oxford master’s programme does not lie too far back there is a good chance that either your College or, in the case of History, the Faculty’s Graduate Office may be able to generate a detailed transcript of your assessment. Please make sure, though, that you enquire in good time whether this will be possible.
