I am broadly interested in the relationship between religious ideas and elite-popular relationships. My doctoral research, supported by a Clarendon Scholarship, explores local religious life in England between c. 1160 and c. 1210, using case studies of localities and texts written in those localities.
I am also a Lecturer in History at Oriel College. Previously, I studied History (B.A.) at Yale University and Medieval History (M.Phil) at the University of Cambridge. See my profile on Academia.edu.
