Statistics for 2001-2002
This year saw considerable restructuring of staffing in the
Library, following the appointment in February 2002 of Oxford University
Library Services' first History Librarian, with joint responsibility
for the History
Faculty Library and the Wellcome
Unit for the History of Medicine Library, as well as the Bodleian
Library History Collections and Services and the Upper
Reading Room. Processes were put in place to enable the further
automation of cataloguing and acquisitions services in the Library,
and work began on creating a new web presence for the Library to
enhance remote services to readers.
Collections
