I am happy to supervise on all aspects of modern Irish history. My graduate students have worked in a wide range of fields, including women's history, the history of education, religious identity formation and political movements and ideas in the revolutionary period. Graduates with an interest in comparative history and welcome, as are those with an interest in the Irish abroad.
Senia Paseta has published on aspects of the political and social history of nineteenth and twentieth century Ireland, and is particularly interested in education, gender and political and social policy. She is currently working on aa broad study of Irish women in the twentieth century.
