Compulsory Undergraduate Thesis: Change of Regulations

There has been a change in the regulations concerning the submission of the compulsory undergraduate thesis title and synopsis for approval by the Chair of the FHS exam board. This applies to all undergraduates taking their Finals in Summer 2008. Previously the title and synopsis had to be submitted by Friday of 8th week of Michaelmas Term in the candidate's third year. From Michaelmas Term 2007, however, the submission date has been changed to Friday of 6th week in Michaelmas Term. The length of the synopsis has also been changed. Formerly the synopsis had to be not longer than 500 words. From this Michaelmas Term it must be not longer than 250 words.

Thesis title submission forms can be obtained from the History Faculty Office in The Old Boys' High School, George Street, or downloaded from Weblearn.
