Master of Science (M.Sc.) in History of Science: Instruments, Museums, Science, Technology

A one-year course. Candidates follow for three terms a course of instruction arranged by the Museum of the History of Science, and take three examination papers covering science, technology and instrumentation: (i) to 1700; (ii) 1700-1850; and (iii) since 1850. They must also submit a dissertation of up to 15,000 words by the last Monday in September, and in mid-October be available for an oral examination if required.
